Carlos Mexican Restaurant

Established in 1972 by our patriarch Carlos Lamas, Carlos Mexican Restaurant started out as a Burger stand in Dana Point California, catering mostly to construction workers who at that time were busy developing the growing beach community.

As time went by, the need to grow became apparent. The Burger Stand was enclosed and a new chapter in our history began as Carlos Family Restaurant offering a comfortable environment with a wider range of delicious items including Mexican Food on the menu.

In 1989 a patio was added and two years later, by popular demand, we became a full time Mexican Restaurant. As time has passed we have grown steadily and in 1997 we added another restaurant in San Juan Capistrano.
